Hello! I am trying to copy a standalone iOS app developed with LiveCode onto my new iPad Pro 2020. All I get is an "Unable to install app" message. However, when I try to do the same onto my other iPad Pro (an older, 2nd-generation device), it copies without a hitch. In both cases, I use the same Standalone Application Settings with the same profile.
I use Xcode version 11-4 (11E146), LiveCode version 9-5-1 build 15505 and Mac OS Catalina 10-15-4.
Perhaps Apple will not allow me to copy the same app onto 2 different devices?
What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks in advance.
H

No, you can install your app onto 100 devices with a development certificate.Perhaps Apple will not allow me to copy the same app onto 2 different devices?
Best regards

Re: Copying standalone iOS app onto an iPad
Does the profile include the UUID of the new iPad?

I created a new profile from scratch, and it worked.

Great to know it helped in your case. Few months ago, when we've simply started our own application, which we wanted to make cross-platform, and with web-version as well, we've searched for dozens and hundreds of resources, looking for prices and technologies developers use. And then found this article where MLS dev team explains how much does it cost to build a website and what features for your new application they can implement and how much would it cost for each feature. Great article, highly recommend.I created a new profile from scratch, and it worked.
