Black splash screen on iPhone 6 Plus IOS 8.1 Simulator

I can get all the splash screens on the IOS 8.1 Simulator on LiveCode 6.7.1 except for the iPhone 6 Plus.
I am using a 2208X1242 png

I have the exact same problem with Livecode 6.7.3 on the 6 plus.

On the iPhone 6 the splash screen does not scale to the edges of the screen.
