Push notifications in iOS 8

Is anyone else having trouble with an application that contains push notifications and has been installed on iOS 8?

Mine launched the first time and asked if it was OK to use the push notifications. After an OK it ran fine.

However upon restart it crashes every time.

Settings > notifications > my app > Allow Notifications OFF will allow the application to launch, but without notifications it is worthless.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've talked to Kevin twice, today.

There are numerous OS8 issues that don't just affect LC but lots of other apps as well (even itunes syncing isn't reliable for some users). I am on a couple of beta teams where the betas won't even load onto the device yet.

So the best all of us can do, right now, is a) notify our users that there are issues with 8, that don't just affect our apps and b) Everyone is working as fast as they can to try to resolve them. Some of them are bugs that Apple will have to fix, and we just don't know exactly when that will be. In the case of the one picker issue and the push issue, those are things that LC is working on.

I'm working on a Saturday, and a Sunday, and other days, as well. Kevin, Ben, and others are answering my emails, anyway.

They have issues with 8. Unfortunately, they got caught off guard by it. Hopefully, they will be working rapidly to resolve those issues.
