Move text with finger touch

I'm doing a little book for iphone and android,
I would like to move the text down and up
to continue reading when the text is larger than the screen.

It can be done with finger movement like a
native application android or iphone???

or what is the best way to put a lot of text
in the application?? and that the reader can
easily move to keep reading??
