Apple virtual device to test

I read about having to install xcode for the virtual device of iPhone etc testing but i don't seem to be able to find it as everyone is saying it will only install on macs if this is the case then what software do i use that does the same job to test on iphones etc?

Are you trying to test iPhone on Windows?
That cannot be done.
Or did I misunderstand?

Yep, you will need a Mac to do this, Xcode and the simulator are only available on a Mac

And Dan, please use a comma or two and a full stop from time to time, makes readings things MUCH easier, thanks!
