Any native calendar abilities yet?

I want to give the option to add an event to the native iPhone calendar after a successful online reservation booking. It's the last major feature I would like to add before finalizing but it appears to not be supported by LiveCode yet. I've searched the forum and the last inquiry into native calendar access was almost a year ago, I'm hoping someone might have come up with a solution to save me getting my hands dirty?
