LiveCode Stack to iPad ???

I need advice and information-
I have a HyperCard Stack I've converted to LiveCode (using a prior version of Revolution). Now. I'd like to run my LiveCode Stack on my iPod 2. I have no desire to make my program available to the public as an iPad App - it is only for my personal use.
I have an iMac G5 running OS 10.4.11 (Power Mac). Do I have to be running OS 10.5 or higher to move my program to my iPad 2?
Can I make the transition with my present resources

And if so - How do I proceed?
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, personal use or not, you have to pay the "fee" to Apple to be into the iOS Developer Program and to have your certificates to install App on an iOS device.
And after that ... I don't know if you can find, download and install XCode and SDK for OS 10.4.11 ...
...but just keep in mind that ... I
must install 'Lion' (
... I'm now on Snow Leopard 10.6.8) to be able to install the
last version of XCode

Thank You Very Much for the information.
I'm not surprised that I'll need to go to Mac OS X.5 (or later) to utilize IOS - but you've pretty much confirmed that for me. Of course OS 10.4 is obsolete but I'm a die-hard lover of HyperCard and am staying with OS 10.4 as long as I can.
I am surprised that I'd have to get the Apple Developer Certificate to test/run my LiveCode Stack on my iPad only.
Thanks Again and TAKE CARE,
Ralph

Sorry to say that it's not really a Livecode/RunRev thing regarding running your own stuff on your iPad - it's Apples policy. Doesn't really matter what language the App is written in - you still need a Developer licence to install it even if it's only on the one device.
Until Apple open the devices up for 'personal' App use, the only solution is to use a Jailbreak and do the App via that route - however that works!
I am in full agreement that this is just plain silly - I'm sure there are many, many thousands of people who also agree too.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Ralph,
this is
Apple and, unfortunately, to only other possible solution is ... jailbroken your device and search on the net for ... 'fake certificates', just to enable LC to do the 'Application Build'.
But, honestly, I don't suggest you to do this ... probably you'll have more 'problems' than anything else ...
