IOS Scroller and General Commentary

The IOS scroller support is severely lacking and problematic in LiveCode, which is surprising considering this is one of the most basic controls that needs to be used in almost any commercially viable app. You can get the scrollers to work but they are buggy. Whether you use Name or Id when you have scrollers on multiple cards going to the first card to the second works, but when you go back to the first card the scroller stops working. Spent many frustrating hours trying to debug this to no avail. I'm really disappointed by this and shocked that after so many months of IOS Support Livecode still lacks real IOS controls.
The good news is that MobGUI somehow manages to address this issue, and the scrollers work. However, MobGUI is full of problems and with poor support this product lacks maturity and still needs tremendous TLC to get it to work. We have to keep rebuilding cards because any time you resize a control on your card MobGUI changes it to the original size and you have to delete the control and then add it in again. For $50 I guess I can't expect more, but I honestly would rather pay $500 to obtain a real working product with a real person that can respond to problems, questions and issues.
I really wish a serious developer would create a proper set of controls that works and charge a good amount of money for it in return for providing excellent support and service. The LiveCode community is fantastic but honestly, having a group of hobbyists trying to offer free or near free controls really doesn't do anyone any good and in fact it causes more aggravation and ends up costing a lot more. It's time for Runrev and the Community to start treating this platform as a true viable commercial solution and everyone needs to stand behind this product.
I am pleading with the community - develop quality software, provide excellent customer service and start charging the amount of money that is needed for you to continue supporting and enhancing your products!
I am pleading with RunRev, if you are serious about support the mobile platforms, the basic need for built in native IOS controls is ESSENTIAL! Go buy out the code from one of your developers and add it into the base product. You certainly are charging enough to afford doing this, and obviously your hands are full so perhaps taking the route of buying something rather than looking at developing something would help everyone out.
I am sorry for this long litany, but after spending several all nighters trying to resolve issues I am beyond frustrated.
