MapKit

Hi

A little preview. I haven't done any work on annotations yet but the main MapKit control is looking good.

Monte, looking good. This'll make a HUGE difference to a project I've been working on. Great work!

Thanks Gerry

I just added some annotation support. It's probably not far from a first version now. I might save custom annotations and pins for a future release.

I too am getting a little excited about what you are doing with your 'mapKit'...
Is the ability to plot distances/ directions and waypoints available in your external ?... I ask, as at the moment I am using a html file stored as a custom prop and changing out variables in the file as and when needed, but it is cumbersome..

be well

Dixie

Hi Dixie

I guess you could use annotations for the waypoints. I haven't implemented a polygon yet but ill take a look.

Cheers

OK, MapKit is getting very close now. Should be released this week alongside the action sheet/popover external, mergAV video thumbnail and iOS 5.1 updates of everything.

This sneak peek shows a polyline and an annotation callout. Clicking the disclosure triangle sends a callback message to your stack. Note the pristine waters of southern Tasmania where I went for a dive yesterday to get some nice abalone for dinner ;-)
