shared file on Catalina

Hi All,
I read about shared file on Catalina here

Copy from your Mac to your device
Select the files that you want to copy. Select only files that work with the app.

How to know what file types work with an app ? (I haven't Catalin and i can't do what is described below

Depending on the file type, some apps can't open files in other apps or locations. You can see the list of files in the Files tab of the Finder when your device is connected to your computer

I have a lot of files (png, aif, txt) used by my app
Does Catalina accept these file types ?
If not what i have to copy files from mac to iPad ?

From the description at the site it looks like a more integrated variant of Dropbox, OneCloud Nextcloud, etc. It should be able to handle most file types.

BUT -

Be forewarned that complex page-from-disk formats like SQLite are generally not recommended for any syncing service. Tons of discussion about that on the web. The nature of syncing makes such things prone to corruption; if multiple users attempt to edit them, corruption is nearly certain.
