Missing buttons, labels, etc. when I view the iOS Simulator

Post by Aji » Wed Feb 24, 2016 7:08 pm

Hi,

I'm running LiveCode 8.0 dp 15 with simulator 9.2

On my LiveCode stack/card I have a title object, a few text labels, and a few push buttons (iOS style) -- in addition to 3 multi-line text fields.

In the simulator, all of my GUI elements have DISAPPEARED except for the 3 multi-line text fields. The 3 multi-line text fields appear in the same position in LiveCode and in the Simulator.

Also, the background is not the same white as in LiveCode.

Lastly, I get warnings saying that the simulator is taking a long time, do I want to abort? I'm patient and just let it take enough time to finish. If this is part of the problem please let me know.

Thank you for all advice.

Hi,
I standalone setting you need to go to copy files and check the appropriate extensions.

The background color will change to grey.

As far as the warning. We all get that.

QuailCreek,

Your advice was perfect.

I went to Standalone Settings >> Copy Files and scrolled thru the 2 columns of checkboxes; picking and choosing the ones that applied to my little app.

It worked like a charm!

Thank you for taking the time and effort to help,
