Post by heatherlaine » Wed Jun 17, 2020 3:32 pm

Dear forum members,

I'm drawing your attention to our crowd funding campaign, which we have just launched here:

https://livecode.com/covid-19-livecode-impact-fund/

This is an important campaign for LiveCode. If you have a moment please do go and check it out.

Warmest Regards,

Heather

I wish there were the option to send a simple donation for people who don't want to buy anything.

Hey Richmond,

There is. If you check the top product in the list, its a "Donate" option.

Best Regards,

Heather

Um . . . well maybe it is just me who finds that hard to work out.

Wonder why on earth we should be charged VAT for donations? That seems a bit rough.

It's income for the company. It's not a charity. So they will have to handover VAT to the tax-service(or how it is called in uk)
