rIDE is an IDE framework with the vision to be a modern and flexible one window LiveCode IDE.
rIDE is open source and dual licensed. Version 1.6.0 can now be downloaded from http://www.tapirsoft.com

Main features;

High performance
The "revMenubar" can be integrated
The "revTools" can be integrated
Drag and drop fully supported.

Hej Mats,

römm pömm pömm pömm :-D

After half an hour I think this will replace the otherwise really cool "Project Browser" for me!
Its a tad "snappier", probably due to the absence of snapshots of each control.
I really like the option NOT show the Tools and menubar :-)

Again, thanks a lot for this fine contribution to the LC community!

Best

Klaus

That's really cool Klaus! :-)

I really would love if we could get lots of discussing of the features and improvements of rIDE. IMHO I think there is a good chance of having a fast developing modern IDE framework if we the LiveCode users/developers set some creativity free. I'd like too see rIDE as a playground to speed up that process. With LiveCode now open and the community engaged in daily improvements of the engine there will be a lot of cool things that could be coordinated and developed to make the IDE really shine!

All the best!
