I replied to Jacque, not to a press release.
What Jacque wrote was:
"And another big one: unicode that just works, with text chunking available in any language."

That seems to work for me. What part of using chunk expressions on field objects isn't working for you?

Hi Richard,

Apparently, I have a different definition of unnicode that "just works". I think RunRev is aware of this, but I don't think they plan to grant me my wish anytime soon.

Kind regards,

Mark

Were you referring to my suggestion that someone submitting a request to the RQCC can indicate its importance to them by adding at least one vote to it, or comments like these?:

"it's a money pit!"
"...you have to pay out the ass again and again"
"I have absolutely no doubt that the bean counters at RR hold a release until a proper number of licenses have expired."

That last one is especially noteworthy, perhaps the strongest bullying in this thread yet.

Expressed as an absolute certainty, would you be willing to offer some evidence to support it?
Gonna fix a mocha n forget all this.
Wise.

Richard,

Barry is just frustrated and I think I can understand at least some of his frustrations. I don't need to see proof of his statements.

Although I can't speak for him, I think he was partly referring to himself when he suggested to stop the bullying.

Kind regards,

Mark

LOL. Now thats funny.
It's my opinion that if you think that is bullying then you have no idea what bullying is.

Thowing posts back at people and twisting everything they post against them is a form of bullying.
And trying to suppress someones opinion is also a form of bullying.
Being excluded from support cause you don't deam someone as worthy enough to receive it is a form of bullying.
And simply being ignored is a form of bullying.
Live n learn.

It doen't make it bullying cause you or I post that it is.

There I go again getting caught up in a bully's BS.
What a waste of my time.

Yeah, Ok. Been bullied pretty much all my life.
Bit sick of it n tired of being sensative to it.

Thanks for the reminder.
It pertains to me as well. ouch.
I'll be trying to catch and stop myself from bullying.

By any label, you made a hurtful claim of unethical behavior that you presented not as an opinion but as a fact.

Some may see it as libelous, but most recognize it as at least ungentlemanly.

if you don't want a particular release, there is no obligation to buy it. We do not force you to upgrade if the features in the release are not what you need. You can continue using the previous version, and continue to download all previous versions and license them from within your account. Please check the little drop down menu next to the download buttons - you will see that you can roll back to any previous version you owned.
Barry Sumpter... Just let it go !!... No one is trying to 'bully' you... The bottom line is Runrev have decided on their pricing and how they wish to sell their products... If you think that you have ideas that can help them sell more units and up their market share then write to customer support and share your wisdom with them of your marketing prowess...

Err... It was not too long ago you made a big song and dance about moving to basic4Android since you were sick and tired of Runrev's mobile offerings... You've crept back... What went wrong ?... liveCode a little easier for you ?... :D

And another burtout bully snips back in.
Are you the LC gatekeeper?
I didn't get that memo.

No song n dance.
Seems you just remember the things you wanna bully about.

Had to move, after considerable debate, to b4a for proof of concept project regarding GPS.
Now that GPS(minus the Speed) is working with 5.5 I can invest in an existing funcationality.
And not promises of future release content.
So feel free to use that against me as if your opinion counts.

Starting to recoupe OmegaBundle investment now.

Never left. I was still supporting LC developers while working with b4a when other LC developers wouldn't.
Why would anyone need to sneak back with all the fantastic encouraging support one gets from all this back stabbing BS?

Feel free to go back to your elitist group of exclusion and exclusive support.

Yeah, fair enough.
Just fighting back.
Trying to stop being a victim.
Giving as well as I get.

I did promise sales I'd be a good boy by posting positive and constructively.
But I have to reserve the right to defend myself when I deam neccessary.
And will continue to give proper thanks to proper support given by anyone in the future.
