Any LiveCoders in Portland, OR?

Portland has a big, active tech scene. I've been talking to everyone I meet in the women tech groups about LiveCode, but no one so far has heard of it. I'm working my way (slooooowly!) through the Create It With LiveCode course, and would love to get together with other folks to work on lessons and projects together. Also, I think we could generate a ton of interest if there was an active group. Anyone interested in getting a LiveCode meetup together?

Thanks,
Nicole

Thanks for posting that, Nicole. There have been a couple meetings in Portland in the past, but I don't believe there's an ongoing group. I'll drop a note to a few friends I know in that area and encourage them to chime in here.

That would be wonderful, Richard! I've been to various meetups for Python, Ruby, etc., but honestly, I just really want to learn LiveCode. So it would be great to get a group together!

There are more than a couple of folks in the metro area. I organized a few in the distant past, and I know Garth also organized several after that. I think the last one was at John Barleycorn's in Tigard (just off of I5, near Lake Oswego).
Id be up for a meeting. Anyone else?

Ill send a note to Garth as well to reply.

Okay, lets try to get something together. So far there's three: you, me and Phil Davis. There are more - Garth? Robert?

Great; thanks, Lynn! Hopefully you guys can help me get up to speed; I'm sort of floundering in CIWLC because of some difficult life events.
