3D objects (renderings?)

Hello RRers,

It's my first time here on these forums and I thought I'd start off with a question: Aside from being able to make 3D wireframes, is it possible to create rendered/pre-rendered 3D objects with use of the Animation Engine or other game developing related tools?

I'd seen many demonstrations of 2D visuals, but was unsure if there was any use for full 3D applications using the game dev kit.
