I used to know quite a lot about Unix but became a manager around the time SVR4 and GUIs came out...
Anyway, I have RevMedia sitting on a Ubuntu 9.10 desktop on an x64 machine (I installed a stick version), and it just sits there when I attempt to run it. Nothing in the README on Linux. I vaguely remember, don't I have to set some bit field to make it executable, and/or move it to /bin?
Thanks,
Walt

I ran chmod +x on it, it says "Command not found".

Re: Linux Idiot Question
Can you run it from a command line?
Re: Linux Idiot Question
No, Mark, it does nothing from either the command line or from the GUI. From the GUI the Properties call it an executable, as does ls -l.
Do you think it might be an x32 versus x64 install issue?

Re: Linux Idiot Question
Mark, I got it working. I made an x32 Ubuntu build, it was apparently the x64 build that had an issue.

Re: Linux Idiot Question
Walt- yeah, the 64-bit thing was my other guess. I just filed bug #8712 about this issue.
