Managing several LC version in Mac OS Launchpad

Hello everyone !

I'm unable to display several LC versions in Mac OS Launchpad. When adding a new version in the Application folder, the app doesn't appear in the Launchpad, even if -as suggested in Apple documents- I drag it on the dock Launchpad icon. Any solution? I know, it is not a very important "issue"... :-)

Have a good day !

I never use the Launchpad: but I have 6 versions of LiveCode in my Dock.

HI @arombauts,
i practically never use launchpad either, but it's available a trackpad gesture.
I can confirm that only the latest version of LC shows up there.

However i've never found launchpad useful; i'll either use spotlight (cmd-space) to launch apps or the dock... you may well be the first person to have noticed this!

If it is important for you, you can always submit a bug report/feature request at https://quality.livecode.com

regards
Stam

Is Launchpad expected to provide access for multiple versions of an app?

Does it do that for other apps?

Is the bug in LiveCode or Launchpad?

I'd think it was a launchpad issue. LC has no control over system apps. I suspect it can't differentiate between duplicate bundle IDs so it only shows one.

I keep 4 copies of LC in my dock.
