Open Substack in revlet

Hello,

i'm writing a larger Program with each Substacks.
In a Standalone on all Systems and in Browser on MacOS the Substacks open properly.

Only in Browser on Windows-Systems the Substacks don't be displayed in openmodes "as modal", "as toplevel", "as modeless" and without a mode.
In my Program it's not desired that the Mainstack closing when the Substack opens, so "in window" and "in new window" are not a Option.

Is that a bug in the Webplugin or what can i do?

You can find my simple Teststack here: http://kristallprinz.kr.ohost.de/Substa ... index.html
In OS-X all Substacks works fine, in Windows not yet are displayed.

//Edit: My revWebPlayer.exe is 4.0.0.950

Hi Kristallprinz,

unfortunately substack or any other stack can not be opened outsiode of the initial Revlet stack, although otherwise advertised!
What does work is:
...
go stack "substack" in window of this stack
...
Which requires that both stack do have the same dimensions (height/width). Sad but true

Best

Klaus

Hello Klaus,

its a little bit crazy, we are both germans, but we talking in english.

I know, that under Windows-Systems the Substack shows in the same dimensions as the Mainstack by open with "in Window".

My question was meant rather in such a way whether it will give the same possibilities in the future under Windows as under OS-X, or is the restriction under Windows to remain and continued under Linux?

Greats, Bernhard

This doesn't work on Mac OS either, if that is what you mean.
I hope that in the upcoming versions "extra" windows will be possible.

Best and frohe Festtage und so :)

Just curious: why does the plugin tell me this stack needs access to my hard drive?

Maybe, the Function to download the Stack tell's the compiler to integrate Hard Drive Access.
The Teststack is compiled with Autodetect.

I wonder if that's a bug. I see a surprising number of revlets for which the plugin asks for local disk access, which seems unnecessarily frightening and may make folks a bit skittish about running it.

The other two revlets are for a little Usergroup, they knowing what the revlets can do, in future.
So its not a Problem. :D Actually I wanted to indicate you also only the Test-Revlet.

But if you have fun at the other two stacks, it is to be quite me. 8)

So have fun and a happy christmas, Bernhard
