By design, PDF is very hard to edit as it is. What do need to prevent?

I have a client who redesigned a fairly large (6 - 8 pages) and her competitors copy them. I am writing an app to fill the 6 - 10 pages that fill many fields. I have also put a "watermark" kind of layer on each page to make is just a little more difficult to copy.
I have thought of copywriting the PDF layout but the client doesn't think that will deter her competition because she isn't willing to hire Atty's to take on these leaches. Looks like there isn't much else I can do!

My client just asked if they could host the App described above on their website. I am not conversant in web apps and am not sure if LC is the right tool for that. My task is to put quite a bit of data into a file (preferably PDF) and have that delivered to my client, I don't have a clue as to how to accomplish this.

Instead of writing text/fields/etc. to the PDF, perhaps you could compose each page on a card the use SNAPSHOT to make a PDF where the pages are just images.
