Video problem with tutorials in trial... only audio on winxp

Hi... I tried to download revolution media and it installed properly, though, I am having trouble on the video tutorials. I can play the audio, but there is no video, and the window is frozen during playback.
I have a 3 megabit download link, using DSL. So bandwidth is not a problem.
I am using a modern operating system, as it is Windows XP SP2.
I have antivirus, so, I know it is not that, either.
Not sure what is causing the problem.
I downloaded the TechSmith screen capture codec, and I have Quicktime 7.1 installed.
Any help is appreciated, as I would like to learn about this package through the use of the tutorials before the expiration of the trial.
One more thing... I am able to view the PDFs without trouble.
Many thanks for your time.

update... I can view tutorials online so luckily I am not out of luck. hehe
Thank you for being available for assistance.
Sincerely, olyrie
