Controlling PowerPoint From Within Runtime Revolution

Greetings All,
I am developing a dual platform program that uses a projection system, and I would like to make it possible to show a manually controlled PowerPoint file within my program without leaving my program.
I saved my PowerPoint file as a .pps file which makes it self contained. Then I use the launch command to open this file, however I get the PowerPoint logo and a scrollbar that shows the file loading. If I pre-open PowerPoint, I can avoid the logo, but I still get the progress bar.
1. Is there a way to open my file without showing the logo and the progress bar?
2. After the file is finished, it quits, but I am still in PowerPoint. Is there a way to force PowerPoint to give control back to my program?
Thanks,
John Miller
