Hi, all.
Using LiveCode 7.0 (rc 2) and went to compile my app as a standalone for Windows 7. Got an elaborate error that (along with a slew of numeric data) included references to the stack "reSaveAsStandalone" and subdirectory /Toolset/revstandalonesettings.rev.
For those who wish to be tortured (:-)) please note the attached 'full on' image of the compile error.
Tried tweaking my standalone settings to no avail... I've really never had this problem before.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
George

http://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/
Please try again with that version.

Re: LiveCode 7.0 (rc 2) standalone compile (strange error)
Hi, Klaus.
Downloaded and installed, but still the same compile error. Strangely, no such issue with 6.7. I don't find any obvious coding anomolies when running uncompiled, but even so, hoping I'm not doing something foolish in a routine somewhere that 7 doesn't like?
Really appreciate your prompt response... let me know what you might suggest. Although I know they are quite comprehensive and powerful, I typically don't employ a lot of the debugging tools in the GUI, but again, not sure the tripping point is in my code. Appreciate your knowledge, expertise, and guidance, Klaus!

Re: LiveCode 7.0 (rc 2) standalone compile (strange error)
Hello, all.
Per my previous post... the standalone compile issue still exists for me, even with the latest stable version of LiveCode 7.0. As I noted, 6.7 compiles without the error.
Any suggestions or guidance? I'd really like to leverage the great features of 7!
Many thanks,
George

Just a quick update:
I installed 7.0.1 (rc 2) and the compile error is no longer an issue!
Thank you,
George
