My second Android app passed review Friday afternoon and has been released in the Google Play Store. UHD Radio plays 4 radio stations' 48k xHE-AAC streams with synchronized album art and ID tags. Made with LiveCode 9.6.9 (rc 2) for macOS. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... s.uhdradio

It looks a lot like my first app but the underlying technology is very different. This one requires Android 9 or newer.

Version 2.0 of this app was released a couple days ago in the Google Play Store. New this version: dynamic backgrounds that change colours when album art changes and lock screen updates with album art and ID tags.

The app is free. As far as I know, it's the only app in the Google Play Store that can play xHE-AAC fMP4 HLS streams with full synchronized album art and ID tags. Great sound at a very efficient 48 kbps bit-rate!
