Übeknecht

Post by Klaus » Tue Mar 29, 2022 4:41 pm

Hi friends,

I created a new freeware desktop app with LC (what else?): Übeknecht (Practiseservant)
and I updated my website accordingly.

If you want to take a look, do it here: https://major-k.de/uebeknecht/
On the download page there is also a new version of an old game: Ei-Kätscher for small and big children. :-)

Please tell all of your (musician-)friends!

Best

Klaus

Thank you Klaus for this app.

I opened it successfully using MacOS Monterey 12.3 by right-clicking on the app-file and granting permission to open.
Then I imported folders containing m4a files from my iTunes folders. Worked as advertised.
Changing the speed of music without changing the pitch is quite funny.

However after using "Übeknecht" a couple of times I still can't play any instrument at all :D . But that is probably for version 2.

I can imagine that "Überknecht" is really helpful when practicing.

Very nicely done.

Kind regards
Bernd

Very nice Klaus!

Pleasant and clean interface and i particularly like the variable speed thing! just happened to have a folder of mp3 from U2 live at the Apollo and playing Angel of Harlem super slow was great great fun :)

Not sure i'm going to be practising any music with it - haven't touched a keyboard in over 20 years and last picked up my electric guitar about 8 years ago, but you never know ;)

Only thing for me is English localisation of the tooltips! - even through i speak fluent Greek and Swedish, my German is abysmal :(

Thanks for the fun software Klaus!

Hello friends,

I created a crowdfunding page to be able to continue to offer freeware on my website.
If you could spare an Euro or two, that would be great!
Thank you very, very much!

Hiere the link: https://gofund.me/d7c4410d
Sharing much appreciated!

Hint:
The story on that page also contains english text, just expand the textbox!

Your efforts on the forum alone, let alone freeware, deserve some appreciation - happy to contribute...

Hi all,

Klaus has reached €235 of €450 in his goFundMe campaign.

Considering the amount of support Klaus offers on this forum I would think that it would be nice if the campaign would meet its modest goal and provides Klaus with the means to continue his first class support.

Every € counts.

Kind regards
Bernd
