tmGauge (by Scott Rossi)

Interested in using the many environmental add-ons and extensions from LiveCode and third parties to the flexible LiveCode environment? This is the place to talk about it.

tmGauge (by Scott Rossi)

Post by andyh1234 » Wed May 06, 2020 6:10 pm

Hi,

Many, many years ago (10+?) I bought an external from Scott Rossi called tmGauge 1.06.

Does anyone have current contact details as I have lost the control but would love to be able to use it again. I have dug out a backup copy, annoyingly on a CD but have no computer with a CD drive any more!

His demo stack on the website still loads and plays in Livecode 9 and it still looks good. If anyone knows how I might get hold of him I would be very grateful.

Id also be interested in his tmButtons control, he made good stuff!

Thanks

Andy

Thanks, I have used the contact form but had no reply so I was wondering if his site was abandoned and perhaps he might call in here from time to time, or someone might know how to contact him some other way.

I can see he posted most of his work publically in 2018 at http://tactilemedia.com/blog/2018/05/12 ... the-past/ but not the gauges or buttons.

Does anyone else make similar visual controls, they are very useful, way beyond what I could code!

This page...
https://scottrossi.design/projects/gauges/index.html
...has some fascinating gauges on it that he did, any of that help you out?

*Edit - on closer inspection, I saw that it did not, however, I found a whole bunch of his gems with this search -

Thanks again for the replies, I have heard from Scott now and have an old backup as well I found on an old hard drive I have put into the roofspace! The controls still work, when I bought them Livecode was at version 2.7, that's good!
