Good Middleware

Does anyone have a good recomendation for a commercial middleware software or service

are there any good scripts for livecode server out there?

These tutorials will get you started with LiveCode Server in general:

Once you have LC Server set up and running, having its scripts connect to your database are pretty much what you already have, just running on the server rather than from the client.

If you get hooked on LC Server and want to make more sophisticated Web apps, the revIgniter framework is a good one:
