Looking for a SMTP lib

I'm looking for any of the SMTP libraries that were available for runrev about a year ago (and further back).

The two which are frequently mentioned are: Shao Sean at shaosean.tk - this is now gone and Sarah's (TROZ) which is also MIA.

Does anyone have these accessible for download anywhere else? (have been digging around for a while).

Thanks in advance,

Just as a fall-back, if you are using Mac OS X or Linux, it may be a lot easier to just use the Shell command and sendmail instead of a 3rd party package.

Code: Select all

% /usr/sbin/sendmail who@email.com
Subject: Hello, world!
This is the first line of my message.
This is the second line.

I think Sarah Reichelt is still moving stuff over to her new on-rev site - I'm sure if you email her, she'll send you a copy or a download link.
As for Shao Sean's library, I'm not sure where's he's hiding it these days; but you can go to http://www.altuit.com/webs/altuit2/RunRev/Downloads.htm and downlad the altEmailHarness (near the bottom of the page) which is a simplifying wrapper around Shao Sean's SMTP library, built by Chipp Walters.
