As I am having major issues with the browser widget crashing after I have saved a file in the newer versions of Livecode.

I am using revBrowserOpenCef to open a browser session.

I know I can get data from javascript with revBrowserAddJavaScriptHandler but can I call a javascript function in the page and pass a varible ?

@rblackmore245: When you say 'crashing after saving a file' - do you mean using an HTML input 'file' form? If so, then this sounds like http://quality.livecode.com/show_bug.cgi?id=18955 which should be fixed in 8.1.7-rc-1, and will be fixed in 9-dp-9 (which should appear within the next week or so all being well).
