mergJSON on LC Server

I'm having a senior moment... Can someone outline for me what I need to do to be able to use mergJSON on a Mac based LC Server v8.1.0? I can't get it to work. 
Found a mention of needing to include the .dylib in the extensions folder of the server but I can't find the .dylib file anywhere.
