"Show Name" property for image objects?

Post by jlally » Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:45 am

Hello -

I was wondering if there was a way to show the name (or some other text label) when using image objects? I see that buttons and graphic objects both have "Show name" as a settable properly, but not images. I do see that images have a bunch of settings dedicated to "Text Formatting" in the Inspector, but I do not see a way to enter or display text.

Thank you and as always, any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi John,

as you have discovered, images do not have a "showname" property.
So you need to create a (extra) little label field next to it and fill it with
whatever text you need to display.

Thanks, Klaus!
Just out of curiosity, what do an image object's "Text Formatting" settings do, given that they can't be labeled?

Cheers,
