Re: Course completion certificate not available...?

jihem, The new version is v. 1.2.3, and I only sent it to RunRev a few hours ago, so I am certain they have not yet posted it to the LCU download site. (They're still asleep over there. :) ) Give them a day or so to get it posted, or email support and ask when they'll have it ready. The new version ...

Re: Course completion certificate not available...?

Hi jihem, Sorry for the problem. After some investigation I have found the problem, and will be releasing a new version later today that should fix it. The problem had to do with a mismatch between the assignment list and the completion schedule you set up when you started the course. This caused th...

Re: Submit Controlling Robots don't work

Juan, This is simply a self-assessment. The assignment is worth 20 points, so if you think your program works perfectly, give yourself all 20 points. If it has problems just estimate how much of the 20 points you think you should get. If you were taking the course in a formal classroom setting the t...

Re: Submit Controlling Robots don't work

Hello Eric and Juanpa1970, I found the problem. It was in the robot programming stack. I have fixed the problem, and the updated stack is in the master database. That means that if you have the full, paid version of LCU, and you choose Check for Content Updates in the Help menu, it will download the...

Re: LCU- FURTHER to command: do 1 time [move forward]

I've made a change to the Robot command interpreter to handle this kind of unanticipated input in a more robust manner. If you have the full, paid version of LCU you will get the fix if you do Check for Content Updates from the Go menu. For trial version users, the updated Robot stack will be includ...

Re: Submit Controlling Robots don't work

Eric,

It sounds like a bug in LCU. I will check into it, and see if I can duplicate it.

I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Re: Submit Controlling Robots don't work

Eric,

Submitting your assignment does not mark it as completed, only as "in progress". Do the Self-evalutuation from the Go menu > Self-evaluation tool. Once you mark it as complete there and give yourself score, it should show up in the list with a Checkmark as completed.

Re: LCU- FURTHER to command: do 1 time [move forward]

Dan, The test command field was not designed to test the 'do N times' structure. It is limited to single "action" commands only. As for the 'do 1 time' problem, let me do some testing and see if I can figure out what's happening there. I can tell you it's not something I was anticipating when I wrot...

Re: Robot module

I've posted an updated Robot programming activity to the master database. This one allows you to scroll the screen in the case of smaller monitors where the window size is decreased, and to resize the window. If you have the licensed version all you need to do to get the update is to choose Help men...

Re: Problem with Update Livecode Univerty after install Tria

Good to hear, Eric.

You should also find that with the new version many of the lessons that formerly depended on downloads from the server now contain the lesson media resources in the local data store.

Devin
