Re: Graphic help needed
Thanks Craig, I am sure a bug report will help someone, but not me. At nearly 75, I may not live long enough to enjoy the update or cure. I have always enjoyed programming with RunRev or Livecode, but the re-learning curve is too steep if snags like this keep cropping up. I do wonder if anyone uses ...

Re: Graphic help needed
Hi dunbarx,
So, I am not necessarily mad then.
All I wanted to do was plot a circle and a few lines.
1.5 days, and this is all I have to show for it.
Any advice?

Re: Stack size in 4k display?
I thought this was an interesting question about something I never had need to think about. Based on some replies, I suspect other users are the same. Although I use a windows 10, 3840 x 2160 res 15 inch laptop which has been connected to a 1920 x 1080 res 23 inch TV screen as a monitor in a dual sc...

Graphic help needed
I wanted to write a simple program that drew lines from specific points on a circle. (Mandelbrot) However, I cannot find any tutorial on how to use the range of graphic commands. I searched the dictionary. No help there. I have taken apart various examples to see how the graphics were implemented. A...

Re: Resources and tutorials issue
Thank you for the most helpful guidance. How would a new Livecode user know that?
This must have changed from my early days here.

Re: Resources and tutorials issue
I am sure it isn't the Browser. I tried Internet Explorer and that doesn't work saving the code either.
The item that fails to work is this shown in screenshot.
This is different from the Lessons example.

Thank you, I suspect it is the Edge browser in win 10.
I will try another way.

Resources and tutorials issue
I was disappointed to find the "Listing all unique words" Resources section no longer allows the code to be copied and the Tutorial for the same thing is incomplete and has bugs in it. Does anyone have the working stack? It isn't that I can't be bothered to work it out for myself, but it should be w...

Re: Livecode for AI?
Thank you all for your links. On the face of it, Livecode is unlikely to be the answer to my needs. I worked through the links and the subject varies from trivial to not realistic. There is a trend towards 'black box' solutions, but I wanted to understand the process, not be a hamster turning the wh...

Livecode for AI?
Has anyone attempted to develop a neural network using Livecode.
I see on YouTube there are talks that show Python. Python is not something I want to learn. In any case, the neural network itself is usually a built item, controlled by another language.
Any advice or links would be most helpful.

Re: Unattractive UI
It is very neat scrolling and typically mobile. If I had a choice, I would love to use it. Not wishing to appear ungrateful, I am not prepared to end up with 2 versions, desktop & mobile. My concern is changing the control borders from a broad black line to a fine line, better still, also in a pleas...
