AIR makes a great choice if you need to run specifically inside of a browser window, are already well versed in JavaScript, and/or need the sort of sprite handling that engine does so well. AIR doesn't really run in a browser window - at least not in that context. AIR is a desktop runtime which lev...

Ah, I see. I hadn't realized there was a special custom property which was causing that behavior, though I was beginning to suspect it after toggling virtually every other property without result. :D OK, now I know better. I suppose that cell editing behavior could be useful on other occasions - jus...

Thanks Mark, that's what I did last night.

But I'm curious, what property is it in the "table" that makes it behave differently? No matter what I did, I couldn't seem to convert the table into having the same attributes as the normal field as described.

In the meantime, I guess I'm just switching it to a standard list field, with tabstops.

Table field that won't lock

I have a project with a table field, which I want to have list behavior, and I have the locktext set to true, however whenever I click a line it wants to go into cell-edit mode. How do I avoid this? I want the entire line to hilite, but do not want the table to be editable by the user, just single l...

Thanks for pointing out that bug number Mark. I've added my comment and votes to it. Personally, I think that any bug that completely takes a machine out (requiring a cold boot) should be addressed with the utmost priority, so I'm kind of harping on it.

OK, this is happening consistently. Revolution is hard-crashing my G5 every time I quit Revolution - IF I had been using the RevBrowser during the session. This even happens with the browser sample. It happens if I close any and all open stacks and remove them from memory before quitting. If I don't...

I notice that this thread http://forums.runrev.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=505

also seems to indicate a freezing issue with G5 macs, I'm not seeing freezing, but I am seeing sporadically poor performance, and outright crashing of the system.

Hard crash under OSX

I have a project using the revBrowser. My system: Mac OSX.4.10 G5x4 Rev Enterprise Twice today, Rev crashed my system HARD, blue-screened it. I work with a lot of heavy duty software, and haven't seen a crash like this in a couple of years. I'm not sure the details of the first crash, but the second...

Yes, thanks. I actually resolved this earlier. The results are excellent. It is now possible to composite several things into a new image without a lot of screen flashing, etc. I really like this new command.

Alliance indeed! A hideous little Gnome (because they have PVP advantages.)

I've made it to Iron Forge, and Stormwind... so I can get most anywhere if we wanted to actually hook up. Can't remember off-hand what the lowbie instances are for the alliance. Have to ask my kids! They always know. :D

I can attest that my Quad G5 with a 512meg video card is very acceptable for playing WoW. :D

OK. OK. The Thrall server. I'm there. Character name "Meane"

The new Import snapshot of object function

New in 2.7.2 is this command: The import and export snapshot commands have been extended with the following new syntax: import snapshot from [rectangle <rect> of] <object-chunk> export snapshot from [rectangle <rect> of] <object-chunk> to ... In both cases <object-chunk> cannot be a stack (the remai...
