1: Try using: set the defaultcursor to 1008
2: What type of image is your 1008 cursor image? 32bit transparent PNG works well.
3: Try changing the image id to soething high eg 10000 there may be a hidden conflict with the id 1008?

Re: embedded database in RunRev Livecode application
Hi Tom,
Embedded would give you ploblems with Vista and Win 7 which are not happy about modifications to files within the programs folder. I've used SQLite quite a lot and what you can de is really only limited to your SQL knowledge. Have a look at the SQLite site: http://www.sqlite.org/lang.html

Hi nilefireboi, Does your app use Quicktime in any way? There is a lot of traffic about Quicktime and Aero. If Quark was an oldish version it may has also loaded the non Win 7 compatable version of Quicktime. You need to elimate the Quicktime factor before moving on to other tests. 1. Unistall Quick...

Re: Does a Sparkle-like library exist for LiveCode?
As long as the stacks to be updated are placed in the users app directory and not the programs directory there should be no problem. Most of my progs consist of an exe launcher in the program folder which launches the stacks in the users app directory. This arragement allows all of the stacks to be ...

Hi Wungchow,
Try this:
set the HTMLtext of fld "YOURFIELD" to URL "http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=livecode"
Using the HTMLtext picks up the number of searches.
