Re: Why is the geometry manager still borked in 2021?!
Thanks, Mark. The LC site strips identifying info from the dev, citing only "the developer". Do you know who made that? It appears to be some nice work. I assume it's Ferruslogic. The Responsive layout and the Polygrid widget are both supported by the Magic Palette plugin. The enhancement pack inst...

Re: Windows 11 Help
@matthiasr: This isn't anything to do with the printing library - that's just a script library. This is something on these systems which is causing a problem when the engine starts up. Just asked, so i could try to create a similar standalone to test here. I've tested some of my older standalones o...

Re: Windows 11 Help
Many av tools and firewalls have an automatic mode that disables/cleans or blocks automatically without any user interaction or information.BTW, if it were the virus utility, wouldn't it give a warning to the user? They don't report any warnings.

Re: Windows 11 Help
Jacque, i've created now test standalones with LC 9.6.1 Business with tsNet,revsecurity and revBrowser and as an alternative with the browser widget, which uses CEF. I code signed with SHA256 signature and also tried with dual code signing SHA256/SHA1. Each version opened fine without any problem he...

Re: Windows 11 Help
Unfortunately i am also not able to reproduce it with one of my older standalones. Do you know which Livecode version was used for those standalones? Did they include any externals e.g. DB or tsNet? Did you create the Windows standalones on macOS or Win? Did you code sign the Windows standalones? I ...

Hi Jaqcue, seems no1g8tor96 missed your question. So please let me explain what (s)he did: (s)he used the Microsoft Windows 11 Media Creation tool to create a Windows 11 Installer ISO file and used it to upgrade the existing Windows 11 Installation with the option to keep the user data and programs....

Re: Windows 11 Help
I tried here just on my Win 11VM and on a Win 11 hardware PC with a standalone created with LC 9.6.2. No problems.
Both have all current Windows (security) updates installed.

Maybe a Windows update.
Does your VM have all current Win updates? Does you Dell also? Or does you Dell have, but the VM have not or vice versa?

Re: Windows 11 Help
You mean your old Livecode exe or standalones created with Livecode or what?
Could you try to right click the program icon and select open.
Does that help?

Re: Livecode server PHP version
In your cPanel account search for MultPHP or MultiPHPManager or so, there you should be able to select PHP up to 8.1 to be used as default.
