Next DP?

Hi all (especially hello to Edinburgh),

can you give a little inside on the plans for the next DP? Or is the plan for 8 that it will be for those who build from git first?

Just curious what the plan is...

Re: AE table of contents, index?

Hi erik,

first of all thanks for the purchase! I personally haven't, but it sounds like a good idea.

Re: Recently we've been investing ....[SOLVED?]

It's showing people that they don't need Java I can not disagree more here (from experience ;-) ) Java and liveCode are such a dream team! Java on the server side (with all the libraries that come with it) to build a business server and liveCode to build the front end to communicate with said serve...

Re: Recently we've been investing ....[SOLVED]

Even though I did not receive the original mail, I really do not see where the problem is. Might be in the wording. If we are talking about commercial widgets that are "bundled" with the commercial license there is nothing I can see that would be morally "wrong" with that model, as long as both the ...

Drag and Drop

Hi,

I am trying to get drag and drop to work on UBUNTU 14.0.4 LTS 64 - Bit.

So far no luck. Was anyone of you successful?

Re: Windows: Constant access to ICC profiles?

I made a stack with a little more action...

go stack URL "http://www.derbrill.de/testFrames.livecode"

(can not attach because it is a little too large)

Re: Windows: Constant access to ICC profiles?

Hey Mark, if that can be solved in a stack I am really happy to help... As far as it can, AE tries to calculate framerates, and if I recall correctly it was rather simple to report the framerate of the animation. If that is accurate though is a different story. If you want me to try something, I'd l...

Re: Standalone RPi app stopping on XML

I also find the rPI to be a very interesting device. Time constraints still keep me from playing with it though :-( Would you mind to post the bugnumber in here? then I could maybe jump in to give some additional information. To explain a little on the inner workings for XML in LC: The XML commands ...

Re: Windows: Constant access to ICC profiles?

Is it worth investigating further here?
I assume getting rid to a couple of 100 calls to the ICC profile a second could make a difference in rendering speed?

Re: Standalone RPi app stopping on XML

You would only see this library stack in the standalone (at least on Mac / Win / Linux) I believe on mobile it is the same... in the IDE the externalCommands belong to stack "home" answer the externalCommands of stack "home" So my assumption is that the standalone builder for the pi does have a quir...

Re: Standalone RPi app stopping on XML

Too bad that I do not have a Pi to test this... :-( In your mainStack put a button that has this script: on mouseUp if there is a stack "revExternalLibrary" then answer the externalCommands of stack "revExternalLibrary" -- should list the XML commands else answer "no externals" end if end mouseUp

Re: Standalone RPi app stopping on XML

How does the resulting file structure after building look like? (What is in the folder after doing the build)

Could the xmlExternal be missing from your build?
