Re: I need consultant for Final Build for IOS

Hi Mikey, thanks for being interested in this to respond.

Yes, I deleted all profiles and certificates and I am at a blank slate again (for the 4th time). I just now without assistance I most likely will repeat the same mistakes.

Re: I need consultant for Final Build for IOS

Thanks, Richard

Right at the very end of the build I get, I am getting this message: “I could not find a valid identity to go with the selected profile. “

I need consultant for Final Build for IOS

Hi I've been crippled for over a year, unable to make any builds for IOS. I have over a dozen apps in the Itunes App store, but for the last year I am unable to create any more. If you are willing to help, please email me. I have so many project being held up. I'm happy to pay whatever you want, Max...

Playing songs or sound files

I want to get a list of sound files stored on an iPad, then allow users to select and play a song. Where is the documentation to explain how to do this? Max

Data Grids and Standalones

Hi My datagrids stop working when I make a stadalone. If the datagrid is in the standalone, the info does not get saved. If the datagrid is in a stack that I open from a standalone, the datagrid does not work at all. Lines cannot be selected, info cannot be added or collected from them. Is this a bu...

Re: Opening a Stack outside a standalone

Thank you HH

It really works. Thanks for the alternatives too.

I noticed that my data grids do not work in the stacks I opened with the standalone. I can no longer select lines, get data, or enter data into data grids.

Do you think this is a bug?

Re: Opening a Stack outside a standalone

I just need a stack outside the engine so I can write into fields and not have it erase when the standalone closes.

no Data Grid "Row Behavior" button in Livecode 8

The tutorial for Data grids appears to work with an older version of Livecode, It tells me to use "Row Behavior" to use the template, but there is no button. How do I script the template?

Re: How to put LiveCode in the hands of more teachers/studen

Hi Tore, thats a good start to find out specifically what is needed. Here is what I'd like to see: 1. A kid-friendly dictionary alternative. 2. Basic Coding concepts like "if then", repeat loops, functions, variables. 3. Getting Started fundamentals. 4. Creating Games 5. Basic Animation DO you think...

Re: How to put LiveCode in the hands of more teachers/studen

Good ideas,

Maybe an educational program for teachers and students which includes multiple choice, open source, TEST maker app. And It could be language/country adaptable.

Is this a project we can each do one part of, and then bring it together as one? If so, I'm interested.

Re: How to put LiveCode in the hands of more teachers/studen

Hi, Max Schafer here. This is my first time reading this post and I am really impressed with the ideas, time, and effort you all have put into this subject. I’d like to repond to some good ideas. Tore says, “ LiveCode should put together a course package.” Yes, I want to a kid-friendly course with e...
