Re: New Feature Requests

Thanks for the suggestions. They have been implemented in the new 1.1 version which is available now.

The scrollbars are the smallest they can be and the header drag lines are 5 pixels wide now instead of just 1 so they are much easier to grab.

New Feature Requests

I'm working on an update to the plugin and wanted to solicit requests here.

New feature requests already include a minimize button and easier selection of the divider to drag.

What else would people like?

Re: Meeting: Oct 4, Pasadena

Yes I agree. I'd also like to have more topics to cover instead of mostly socializing. Burger Continental is one of my favorite places in Pasadena but I think a different location might be more conducive to a discussion and presentation(s). I'd be happy to talk about lcTaskList which is now in the L...

Re: Using ## as a comment indicator

True but I don't think it makes sense to do it in the comment block. In the example below I would have to keep track of any of the index words inside the entire block. /* This is the comment block MARK the text in a comment */ I could add /* and */ but the index words would have to be right after. E...

Re: Using ## as a comment indicator

The LiveCode standard for the pound sign is only one. The other symbols "--" and "//" are in pairs.

Essentially you are making the extra pound sign part of the comment. I could make the change but I'll have to think about any unintended consequences of non-standard comments.

Resizing window conflict with MobGUI

LcTaskList uses the Geometry Manager when resizing. The default setting in MobGUI blocks the Geometry Manager in LiveCode which freezes parts of the lcTaskList plugin when the window is resized. Fortunately there is a fix in MobGUI for this conflict with the Geometry Manager. http://mobgui.com/doc.p...

Re: Any chance of a minimize control?

I'd rather not make a non-standard window so I'll add a minimize icon to the bottom of the window in the next update.

Remember that if you select the preference for "modeless dialog" you do get the built in minimize button and it works.

Re: Any chance of a minimize control?

James, I'm glad you like it. When a stack is a "Palette" you don't get access to the minimize button. Here are a few options. 1. Set the Plugin Settings for lcTaskList from "Palette" to "Modeless dialog box". This will not only let you minimize the stack but it also won't always float above all the ...
