Re: Environment: which applies when?

Ah, OK, if the environment = "mobile" it CANNOT be "development" at the same time.
And the simulator should report "mobile".

Is that what you mean?

put "/Users/klaus2/Filme von Michael/a fine video.mp4" into tFile
set the filename of player 1 to tFile

Re: Player won't load source file by button script

Hi Sri, try with parens, which should ALWAYS be used when concatenating file- and objectnames! And you can really leave out "... of this card...", lazy LC won't look anywhere else. :D ... set the filename of player 1 to (the desktop folder & "/myVideo.mp4") ... ## or maybe: set the filename of playe...

Re: Player Controller question

Hi Sri,

confirmed, this is a bug! Could you please report it? Thanks.

SHIFT-clicking on these arrows will shows a little scrollbar where you can set the speed for forward and backwards playback.

And the arrows should ONLY play backwards and forward AS LONG as you press them.

Now, as LiveCode DOES have line numbers (go and look!), why is there no GOTO equivalent to escape from a script?
This in just a feature of the Script Editor for our convenience.
The scripts do not have line numbers, at least the engine does not count them or support this.

Re: LiveCode Web Apps License vs. LiveCode Indy License

Hi Lloyd,

I would say they only renamed the "Export to HTML5" license to "Web apps".
The marketing departement of LC has always been ahead of the dev team! :-D

Re: Versions

Why should I, if I only want to save the same stack under a new filename?
The madness should not happen at all!

Re: Versions

I have also experienced the "Save/Purge/Cancel" madness when simply doing "Save as..." with a stack. Of course not reproducable, but highly annoying! :?

Re: Drag-drop image onto app icon?

Hi Keith, as far as I remember you need to catch -> on appleEvent See the dictionary for further infoand an example. And you may need to modify the pList to include one or more image formats in the list of formats that your app can handle. If not you need to press the ALT and CMD key when dragging a...

Re: Input SLDP Player into CEF browser

Hi dansarvas,

sorry, no idea. I'm using a Mac and the Mac browser widget uses the macOS WebKit as the "browser engine".
