sorry, no way, only variables can be local or global!
You will have to put your field(s) manually into a global or local variable.

Hi Omar,

chartonum(the character) = the ASCII number of that character!

You need a simple

Code: Select all

on mouseup
  put the number of chars of fld "Text" into fld "Count"
end mouseup
That's it :-)

This means that all images that are already in "This stack: XYZ" are listed here.
Sounds like a typical "chicken and egg" problem ;-)
