Re: How to determine the color of a pixel?

Hi,
I feel silly asking, but any pointers on getting this data out in a recognisable form? If I put it into a field it just displays a long single string like so:
Yes, imaged use ascii number of letters to define color
Please, have a look at the tack I posted above

Re: IPA is not valid doesnt include payload directory

Hi Tom,
I use AirLaunch to make an .ipa file but you may try "The Other 50.ipa" for your file name.

Re: Provisioning Profile for ios

Hi Tom,
I wonder if the names of your provisioning profiles could be the problem.
I’ve got this sort of error message fixed after renaming profiles.
You may try with more signifiant names without space or upper chars
Good luck

Re: Counter Intuitive

Hi Richmond,
This is both inconsistent, and because everywhere else images are referred to as images
counter intuitive.
Yes, but pattern is pattern and icon is icon
Your students can see the difference between them and choose the better control to build what they want.

Re: mouseChunk in a loop

Hi rcmills ,
I am trying to do this in a locked text field.
Yes You can. You have to set the traversalon of your fld to true ("focus with keyboard" in inspector on a Mac).

Re: iOS app has begun opening very slowly

Hi rcmills I remembrer that Jacqueline said that a short preopenstack with a send in time is better than a long preopenstack message. I tested it with success. You may make your preopenstack shortest as possible and use a send in time for next step Something like that: on preOpenStack if the environ...

Re: Simple example of start using stack

Hi dntknwjck,
If I believe LC dictionary (no tested)
The start using command places a stack's script into the message path after the current stack and before any objects in the backScripts.
You may call your function by its name

Code: Select all

put myFunction(something) into tVar

Re: Using "of me" fails to throw an error - is this expected?

Hi Simon,
When you use the cd script me = "cd id...."
When you use a btn script the name of me = button "Button"
It seems LiveCode ignore that we can't have a group inside a button and return by default the loc of the btn

Hi PaulClaude,
I think there is not a direct Livecode function to do what you want, but you may roll your own function

Re: Field number in a group

Why you dont use the name of your flds "MyField_1", "MyField_2" for group flds ? You may get the name of your fld at openfield, put it into a variable or a customprop of your group, add 1 to this name to know the name of next fld.

Re: Field number in a group

Hi,
What bogs said.
Just to be sure you want the number or the layer of a field
If you want the number of a fld I think you can't avoid a loop
Best regards
