I think if you're working in the IDE then the default location for the "start using" will be relative to the engine location, not the application mainstack, so you'll need to set the folder path for it to find the library stack. If you have both the application and the library open in memory then in...

I don't know if you mean to suggest that code would work or not Mark, but it doesn't work on my system. I already tried setting keys of an "empty" array too - it seems on Windows (XP at least) that the clipboardData is not being set to empty whatever you do. The "unicode" null char workaround seems ...

I don't know if this may cause any other side-effects, but a workaround to clear the clipboard on Windows may be: set the clipboardData["unicode"] to numToChar(0) (setting the clipboardData["text"] to numToChar(0) doesn't work, but forcing it to set the null ascii char in unicode seems to stop anyth...

Behaves like that on my XP machine too. Setting the clipboardData to empty, setting the clipboardData["text"] to empty or setting the clipboardData to tEmptyArray all failed to clear the clipboard.

Do you mean to tell me it's as simple as that to "do" a statement list? I have been trying various ways, but it was always under the premise of parsing one line at a time. (Also I thought there was a 10 line limit for a standalone, but it seems that isn't the case either, is it?) Thank you!

http://www.runrev.com/whats-new/product-overview/ on the top right is the video for the script editor and debugger. At 3:15 into the video it indicates that you can right-click a custom definition and "go to definition" where the editor will open a new tab with that handler's script. The option to r...

The (v. 3 at least) Resource Centre has some info about this. Under "Sample Scripts" > "Text" there is a section "Accepting only digit characters during data entry" which suggests on keyDown theKey if theKey is not a number then beep else pass keyDown end keyDown is a good place from which to start....

Answering for malte - I believe he means something along the following lines: Make an object (can be anything - I would say a button set to invisible, for example). Give it the script on newTool tTool switch tTool case "browse" answer "browse" --close revBrowser and do what you need in browse mode b...

As a slight variation, you could also potentially get the computer name from Rev and pass that as an argument, so that the vbscript doesn't have to make another wScript shell for interrogating the machine name, as in computername = wScript.Arguments.Named.Item("comp") Set filesys = CreateObject("Scr...

The only way I know how you could do this would be with getting Rev to run some vbscript which you can call by running a file from the shell. I don't believe it would be possible to use the "do... as vbscript" method directly from Rev, as Any scripts on Windows which contain references to WScript wi...

You may also find it helpful to try the "useSystemDate" property. It is a local property (so it needs to be set for each handler that may handle dates, and will reset itself at the end of every handler in which it is used). If you set the useSystemDate to true at the top of every handler that caters...

Well there's a glib answer and a "well I don't really know without some more info" answer. To delete a line is there any reason why you aren't simply using delete line <x> of field "tableField" ? And inserting the new line by using put cr & <new barcode data> after field "tableField" ? I'm assuming ...
