Re: Datagrid form: errorDialog on DeleteFieldEditor command

I am trying to find out but I cannot save changes to the "RevDataGridLibraryBehaviorsDataGridButtonBehavior" script (which I believe is the culprit).
Is there a trick?

Datagrid form: errorDialog on DeleteFieldEditor command

LC 9.6.0 on OSX I have a DG form, with an editable field in it, in the card of the main stack. On the main stack there is a "on errorDialog pExecutionError" command. Only on mobile standalone, whenever I edit the form field, exiting from it, I receive the following error: Istantanea schermo 2020-06-...

Re: Am I stuck on moving to Catalina?

Thanks Pano. You were right. Somehow, after updating the iPhone, Xcode would not allow to install my standalone. After a OSX restart, everything works. Mah... I think we need a database or an app to unravel among all possible version combination of LC,OS,iOS,Android,Xcode, simulator, built in extensio...

Am I stuck on moving to Catalina?

For several reasons I decided not to upgrade my OSX Mojave to Catalina. One reason is because it excludes 32 apps, but I have goggled may more problems about it. Unfortunately I made the error of upgrading my iPhone to 13.5.1 (required in order to use the Italian App dedicated to Covid). So now I am...

Android install asks for location permission, not needed

Installing an alpha test of my Android standalone, I am asked for location permission (and bluetooth, but that's correct). There is nothing that I can see in the LC Standalone setting that would require such permission (see attachment). Or is this related to Google Play console setting? If yes, wich...

Re: RELEASE LiveCode 9.6.0 DP-3

With that said, whilst we only support use of bundled extensions (such as the speech library) with the version of LiveCode or newer that they ship with (because that is all we do and will test against), you can try shoving the speech extension from 9.6-dp-3 into 9.5.1 Indy/Business and see if it wo...

Re: Standalone size exceeding Google Play limit

Doing a APK analyze in android studio, I got the attached result.
Stange enough, there is a folder named iOS (this was an Android build only). How come?

Standalone size exceeding Google Play limit

I have an App that generate an Android apk of 120,1MB (NOTE: only arm7, excluding arm64,x86 and x86_64). Since the limit to upload a build in Google Play is 100MB, I am looking for solutions on how to reduce the overall size. I could remove a copied sounds folder used by the App (around 20MG uncompr...

Re: LC 9.6.0 RC1 splash screens

I give up. I tried all possible combination of size images and simulators and it is impossible to understand what is going on (also, only a "erase all content and settings" on the simulator allows to see the changes). I ended up changing the splash screen with a single image (667x375) with transpare...

LC 9.6.0 RC1 splash screens

I think we need much more informations then what is stated in the dictionary: Schermata 2020-05-13 alle 13.38.52.png - What size? - 2x, 3x of what - horizontal, vertical? - How different dark mode should be (if it has to be different)? - is background color going to be shown if not covered by the im...

Re: running in background

Thanks. iOS does that automatically as the OS doesn't do anything with your app in the background unless you've explicitly asked In the Fliccase it desn't matter. Pause detection is needed because otherwise external bluetooth device stay connected for days, consuming more battery then needed. It is ...
