Re: Cannot make SE colorization stick

Good, this is something I planned to poke around in next week, but I'll start poking around in it this weekend instead. Any particular color you want, or just any color other than green? bold ? italic, etc?

Also, if I remember rightly, you've moved to 8.x right?

Thanks.

Re: Cannot make SE colorization stick

Craig, forgive my density, I realize that this will be kind of a pain, but could you pop a link to the directions you are following to get to the point of calling the init your getting stuck at?

Thanks.

Re: What is old is new again...

folks using the GPL-governed Community Edition would have difficulty knowing for sure what they can and cannot do with it... That is the pickler. While many Oss licenses are pretty liberal, they (usually) take great care not to trample over proprietary rights, as it should be. BTW Richmond, loved t...

Thank you, it is a 'sticky wicket' as it were.

(Not) surprisingly, a great deal of the information contained in those stacks was contributed by (you guessed it) a certain plucky young lad named Richard Gaskin

Re: What is old is new again...

I think the keywords above are - it is not open source I have had many IDEs that were distributed free of charge, but of course their creators would frown on my poking around inside of them since they were not 'open' (at least, not intentionally open heh). Of course, IF they agree to allowing it, I'...

Re: A darker Background editor ! Or more colors to the existing one.

Good points all, but I'm not sure I agree with this one - [1] Sure, it’s easy enough [2] but I think n00bs should have an idea of how the universe works before they attempt warping. [1] I think this is something that is highly subjective, what may be easy for me, or easy for you and I, or even easy ...

Re: A darker Background editor ! Or more colors to the existing one.
