[Solved] Standalone building question

What determines whether a stack can be turned into a (functioning) standalone or not? For instance, (and yes, I know the following are set up for use as plug ins, not standalones), the McDictionary can be saved as a standalone, and it is functional as a standalone dictionary. The TinyDictionary can ...

Heh, looks like we're both sorry, I had gone to do further research and it looks like I failed to recognize you were using the sql datetime, not the Lc dateTime  so I did completely misunderstand the situation :( Glad you sorted it out though, and that you posted a fuller explanation of your f...

Re: No Count with DateTime<='2017-7-22 23:59' and DateTime>=

If I had to guess, I would say that it was because dateTime is a sorting function, not one that could be used for testing as your trying to use it? From the dictionary - Summary Used with the sort and sort container commands to sort by date and/or time. --------------- Description ... Use the dateTi...

Re: Locking a Card for a specific time slot & Reminding the

First, I'd agree with Klaus, your english is very good, probably better than mine :) So what I'm looking for is: 1) A reminder that pops up on the screen of the user just like an alarm clock, maybe additionally in the status bar. 2) Locking the card outside this specific time slot - and in those 2 h...

Re: Lock Moves does not work

Heya Bernd ! I do want to point out that I never said it did " nothing ", just that it does not appear to operate as the dictionary says it * should *. On all of the tests I ran, it did indeed do something, just not what you might expect after reading the dictionary entry for it, and that dictionary...

Re: Lock Moves does not work

Heya -hh :) Thank you for the very helpful posting you linked to, I have read it, and look forward to using it to refine what I know to work currently, but for the question at hand would you know the answer? Just to summarize - - lockMoves, lock moves, and the unlock version of each doesn't seem to ...

Re: I need help with my little Game

I think there are a few ways that readily come to mind for changing multiple colors in a quick seeming way. In the dictionary, check the entry "lockScreen". In essence, this puts the screen in a "hold" mode, while your code, probably in a loop, would change all the colors. Then you simply unlock the...

Re: Lock Moves does not work

Heya Bernd ! To see what I mean about lock moves, try that code either without the 'lock moves' or without the 'without waiting'. If you drop 'lock/unlock moves', you'll see absolutely no difference in the behavior, because "without waiting" is actually doing the work. If you use lockMoves, lock mov...

Re: Lock Moves does not work

Yah yah, I know, reviving an older thread again  However, while the pointed out without waiting method *does* work, I am curious as to why 'lockMoves' does not appear to work as listed in the dictionary, tested in Lc vers. 6.5 to 9.x dp. In testing it, I have some 5 "bubbles" that I would like ...
