Bogs uses gadgets like the Project Browser and Navigator.
Bogs does no such thing hahaha. When I want to see any invisible controls, I run a repeat loop through the controls and set the visible property hahaha.

Mc doesn't have a project browser, not in the sense Lc does anyway.

Re: Hidden Objects

Um, well I'm sure this is too obvious, but the Project Browser shows all items all the time regardless of their state. aPic_hideAndSeek.png Navigator (Development-> Plugins) also shows all the controls regardless of state (and does a lot more than that, worth exploring). aPic_findYourWayNavigator.png

Re: Tool tips

That picture you posted is an excellent example of what I said earlier Linda. As for attaching it to a bug report, you just click on 'Attachment' at the top'ish part of the page, and you can attach pictures and such.

Re: Tool tips

I never thought about it before, but it probably would work better if the tip popped to the right of the cursor(0,0) location, or a couple pixels above the top of the cursor, so that non standard size / types of cursors can't obscure it, or if there was an option to have it do so. I assume that you ...

Re: What happen the stack handlers "Open" and "PreOpen"?

The problem isn't that the messages aren't firing. The OP describes the issue as the message names not appearing in the list of relevant messages in the left column of the Script Editor. If that was directed at my post, I wasn't posting in response to the OP's post, but Richmond's, which said - The...

Re: x( 666) -> No error!

It is early for me, if there is no function x then it probably should throw a message, but I didn't think you needed 'get' to do something with a function or command. I wonder if that explains some things I see happen in my own code haha.

Re: What happen the stack handlers "Open" and "PreOpen"?

I dunno, sure looks like it works here (LC 9.5 on nix). Open this, set the break point on the handler, then run the handler (green arrow on top of the debugger). If your feeling super lazy, don't bother setting the breakpoint, I made sure you will either see a result or get a message when it runs :P...

Re: x( 666) -> No error!

I'm sure I am missing something incredibly blatant Thierry, but it looks like your passing a function with a value, then without, why would that generate an error (assuming the function allows for no value)?

LOL, well, you can't be much more vague than that :P

Care to elaborate ?

Re: What happen the stack handlers "Open" and "PreOpen"?

From a support point of view, I can see why they might have gone that route. I think it has been for a long time the question of the best place for those particular messages to get handled, due to the way the path works. New people to Lc *might* wind up less confused, and longer time users will prob...

I also wonder why this code in a fieldScript does not work:
unless the field is locked and transversal is off, you will not see a mouseUp fire in a field, it is ignored.

Re: Blue Movies

While I was revisiting old threads, I remembered this one, and thought I would mention a few alternatives to bluestacks. One I'm currently testing out is Nox , which requires no sign in and runs on Win and Mac <sigh>. Also came across Genymotion, which requires a sign up but works on 'Nix. Both seem...

Re: GLX2 script editor released for Revolution

The status bar does more than that. Heh, understatement of the year maybe. Was in fact the only downside to running it with Devolution, it is so short, you don't see that nice 'long' id pop up :? ...And yes, I know it is as close as putting "put the long id of the mouseControl" into the messagebox ...

Re: GLX2 script editor released for Revolution

Yes, I was running it with Devolution myself sometime last week to test something out, very svelte. Problem with asking me how I think it looks, I'm not all that new to it, you really need the eyes and input of someone that knows nothing about it. My problem is, I poke around with everything, even i...
