Re: Dropbox Livecode Library

Great ! I was looking for something like this. I hope i can use it :) I allready was looking at Phonagaps because there was support for it, but again then you have to learn something new again, and i'm just getting to get familiar with Livecode, maybe we can call it Lovecode because it's so fantastic!

How to change menuItem of pulldown on other card

Hello, this seemed easy to me but i get an error. I have 2 cards in a stack and on each card is the same button. But if a selection of that button on card 1 is made then the button on card 2 should also be set to the same choice, because else if you switch to the other card the wrong choice would be...

Re: use apktool to rebuild from Froyo2.2 to Cupcake1.5.1

Hi Dave, i don't really think that apktool is ment for this. Probably more for some minor changes and building to the same/original sdk the apk was previous build. But i thought maybe it is a way. After all it is easier to program in Livecode than Android Studio, but following these tutorials on you...

Re: use apktool to rebuild from Froyo2.2 to Cupcake1.5.1

I also put the question on stackoverflow.com and had some tips there. Like changing the manifest afterwards, so the minimumsdk="3" to support cupcake. But the manifest is encrypted thus raising other issues. To me it seemed like if that was possible then apktool could rebuild it then for cupcake, ho...

Re: use apktool to rebuild from Froyo2.2 to Cupcake1.5.1

Hi Dave, still a bit stuck. I followed some tuts on youtube by tim kipp, so this helps a lot in understanding Android Studio. But there a still issues as it is still not stable, so creating a simple test apk did not work yet, not able to build yet, some errors in Android Studio. As it would be a ver...

use apktool to rebuild from Froyo2.2 to Cupcake1.5.1

Hello, does anybody use the APKtool ? I created a simple app with a button, just to see if it could work. I build the apk with Livecode and set it to Froyo 2.2. Now decompiling with apktool gives a bunch of folders and files and i can find 3x AndroidManifest.xml--->1 in the root of the folder where ...

Re: how to figure out why one apk test works and the other n

Hello jacque, Yes i deleted every time in the emulator before testing again. i'm 100% sure that the bug remains in a file which is made with LC7.0.0 stable. I removed all pieces of code one by one, then all buttons and all fields and everytime tested it if it runs. So even with an empty stack i got ...

Re: Is deployment to Android 1.5.1 devices possible ?

Hi Neil, ok so for this piece i have to use Android Studio from google, this seems to be able to do it if i'm correct. Hope i can get it done, more difficult then Livecode. But it's a fairly simple thing, it only has to display a few text lines Retrieved from a txt file and refresh every so many min...
