Placed a sample stack that includes a button with the "import" command for others to see the difference and how to do it. I hoped that there was a way without having to generate an image with...

Widget does not work on Windows as standalone app

I have made the attached stack as an example for a scrolling banner with a Title widget. Just for fun I made a standalone application in Windows 8 of it and was surprised to see that the widgets in the stack do not work? Are widgets OSX only or am I doing something wrong? The stack is attached. Try ...

Re: SQL Lite query does not give me expected results

Thanks phaworth for the tip :D

I decided to delete all records and as of that time all goes well.
There probably were some NULL or strange character in the data that got there during early testing.

Re: Two applications running with same variable names proble

Hi Craig,

I tried the following.

Put the following line in the main stack script

Code: Select all

set the cMyGlobalVar of this stack to "InfoInMyGlobalVar"
In another card in a button I placed.

Code: Select all

put the cMyGlobalVar of this stack into testvar
   answer "cMyGlobalVar = " & testvar
Works ! Thanks Craig.
