So far, the only tips that works for me is to go into my home directory and in the "preferences" folder within the "."runrev" folder, I have to remove the file called livecode.rev before lunching LC. This fix the invisible pointer but sadly it has no effect on the ugly font.

I encounter exactly the same issue on my box which run Debian Wheezy (7) 64-bit. My initial post about this is here http://forums.runrev.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=15165 which I tagged as "DUPLICATE" to follow the thread here.
I have tried all the above tips, however none of them works for me ...

FYI, LC works like a charm on Debian 6 64-bit. Regarding Debian 7 64-bit it now features the "multiarch" which is suitable to run 32-bit apps on a 64-bit distro. Indeed, I have 32-bit apps that run very well on my box.

LC comes with a tool for removing it cleanly. If you have it installed for all users in the default location, that is to say "/opt/runrev", then go into "livecodecommunity-X.X.X" and launch "./.setup.x86" which will uninstall LC. It will remove all files in the "/opt/runrev/livecodecommunity-X.X.X ...

I forgot to say that I'm using Debian Wheezy 64 bit with gnome-shell.
